San Marino

Traditionally known as a city comprised of old money wealth, San Marino was ranked by Forbes as the 79th most expensive city to live in the U.S. in 2009. The renowned Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens is located in San Marino, founded by the legendary Henry E. Huntington, whom was instrumental in making the city was it is today.

The majority of the homes in San Marino were built between 1920 and 1950, many which are California Spanish Architecture by design.

In consideration of schools, the San Marino school district is the best in the area. In fact, the San Marino Unified school district is the top performing school district in California, followed by La Canada Flintridge.
